ANZPRA ECR Award

The ANZPRA ECR Award is aimed at enabling our younger members to visit other laboratories to foster collaborations and learn new techniques. Awards are valued at up to $1000AU, and open to ANZPRA members who are within 5 years of obtaining their PhD (or highest degree).

We are pleased to announce the inagural winner of the ANZPRA ECR award - Ashley Meakin from the University of Queensland.  Ashley will use his award to visit collaborators in US after SRI in March 2020.  We wish Ash all the best with his trip and look forward to hearing about it.

The award will be open for applications again in 2020, and we encourage all ECRs to apply.  Visit the awards page for full details (please note the closing date for this award will be later in 2020 to mitigate for Covid travel bans and difficulties planning collaboratie exchanges at this time).

The theme of the meeting will be “Next Generation of Placental Research”.
