WHO CAN JOIN?
Membership is open to any person based within the ANZPRA designated region with a bona fide interest in placental research.
Application for membership of ANZPRA will be considered by the Executive Committee upon receipt of the application. The committee, if they deem necessary, may request additional information from the applicant to be able to assess the nature and quality of the applicant, including recommendations from existing members and other referees nominated by the applicant.
Application for Emeritus or retired membership shall be considered by the Executive Committee upon receipt of a submission by an existing ordinary member, and determined by simple majority vote.
By becoming an ANZPRA subscribing member, you are supporting the organization that represents placental research in Australia and New Zealand and has representation on the Executive Committee of the International Federation of Placenta Associations (IFPA). Membership entitles you to be an affiliate of IFPA and therefore be eligible to attend IFPA meetings, be considered for ANZPRA awards, and receive updates on ANZPRA activities and associated placenta-related events.
Memberships run by calendar year, and need to be renewed by the 31st of March each year to remain a current member. In order to be eligible for ANZPRA awards you must have been a current paid ANZPRA member for at least 6 months.
ANZPRA membership subscriptions are:
Full members: 12 month membership ($75AU) or 3 year membership ($190AU)
Student members (enrolled in a postgraduate degree): 12 month membership ($30AU) or 2 year membership ($60AU)
For queries regarding membership please email the Association's secretary, Dr Jo James, University of Auckland, NZ.
